Keals Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 So my Varsity swim season just ended and I've been lifting to get prepped for lacrosse season, my only problem is I can never eat that much (I have some sort of stomache issue doctors are trying to figure out that doesn't allow me to eat much and when I do i usually get stomache aches.) so I'm toned, but still skinny and I'm not putting on muscle. I want to try to put on about 10-20lbs of muscles (currently 140lbs). Any tips for bulking?
Reevesy Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 yea.. eat more... wtf kind of answer are u expecting. eat a jar of PB a day.
gfdgfd Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Only answer is eat more, 3000 calories a day, 1g of protein per 1lb of bodyweight, if you can't do that, you won't see very good results ;/
Tris Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 You gotta eat unfortunately, all about getting in the calories and putting the hard yards in the gym.
Keals Posted January 1, 2012 Author Posted January 1, 2012 TBH idk if anyone else had a similar problem but thatnks for the helpful shit Reevesy
Lil_Guy Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Try to eat food with the highest amount of calories. In theory, you would be eating less but at the same time, more? I'm not sure if my logic is correct but it make sense. How tall are you? 140lbs is really low...
ph0ne Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 5-7 meals a day for 2 months if no results u not eating enough fgt eat poultry, rice, pasta and shit like that buy and drink whey and creatine monohydrate if u want
Steroids Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 lots of begginers have this problem, highly doubt anything is medically wrong with ur stomach. just man up and start being consistant with ur calorie intake. i assume you've done stuff such as swapped w.e milk you used for swim season to fullfat whole milk? nuts are very good for bulking, decent protein and lots of cals. also if i was 140lb i would be eating pizza's for dinner everynight, be dirty.
Keals Posted January 1, 2012 Author Posted January 1, 2012 Lol, it is Medical, I have Celiac apparently, just means I have to stay away from Glutin, anyways it wasn't affecting my workouts but thanks for the advice, was helpful.
