The Fight Kiln

In this months BHS Jagex announced that they would be making a new minigame to go with the new quest they are making.  The minigame is called "The Fight Kiln" and is similar to the already existing "Fight Caves" but is supposedly a lot harder.

Whilst the Fight Kiln is only going to be made up of 30 waves, Jagex has stated that it will require most combat skills over 90 as well as curses and extremes/OVLS.

The reward from this minigame is going to be a new "Fire Cape" with a whopping 8+ Strength bonus, an obvious incentive..

The reason I made this post was to find out and share how people have been do The Fight Kiln on accounts with 1-30 Defence and whether or not it is as hard as Jagex are saying it will be.

Let's just hope that the quest required to do this minigame doesn't have anything stupid like a Defence xp reward.. :D

Did a JMod actually confirm that there are 30 waves all up? Or you just going off what it said in the "Early Bird Bonus"

"Get double XP rewards for completing the quest, and another 70,000 XP if you reach wave 30 of the Fight Kiln within this two week Early Bird period."

I strongly think that there will be more than 30 waves.

I'm going to smash it out on Elven with flasks, divine, and overloads before attempting it on my pure.

Looks like I'm going to have to get huntie's comp cape back again after this update :lol: .... But yeah, I'll make sure it doesn't give def exp before trying it on m1ni.

EDIT: Just realized, I'm 50 attack and 8 str bonus won't help me at all. FML

I like the positive thoughts! I'm just hoping I will be able to get it on a 32 Attack turm pure.. Can't get over 88 range or mage...

Anyway... When you guys do attempt it on your pures and mains feel free to post tips and tricks here. I will be trying it on my 70 Def first and then trying to get it on my current 30 Def.

YES there are safespots that can be used against Jad and Jads, I guess when you are at the boss (if anyone can make it that far) the best thing would be to focus on killing one type of tentacle and pray against the others. Not sure how any of this would go though.
