New to this side of the forums,

I've got a very low % of fat on my body yet, the accumulation of it seems to be around my stomach region, just over my 6 pack. It seemed to form around a year ago when I slumped my training routine after fracturing my left kneecap.

The layer isnt overly thick and I can still see my abs through them. When I press down past the layer I can feel the gaps between and the muscle is definetely there, but there isn't the degree of definition I would like.

I've been physically active pretty much forever, and I play semi-professional football (soccer) and I have a brown belt in Ju-Jitsu. Been going gym to build muscle since around august '10 and I do ~75 press ups/sit ups every morning.

Question: Howcome I have this fat on my abs and nowhere else, and what can I do to make it go away?

Dfine8 (pre-work out) drink targets fat around your stomach.

Friends of mine vouched for it and swear by it.  They drink it with breakfast and then sprinkle a bit of it into their creatine pre-work out, and within ~5 weeks there's been a very noticeable change in the fat around their stomach.  They are in the same situation as you, no fat anywhere but a thin layer around the abdominal area.

nothing targets anything anywhere. its total fat loss or not at all, unless you get lypo

Maybe focus a day of ur routine for purely core?

Idk, i'm not really one to give advice, but i'd imagine building more muscle there & then cutting down ur bodyfat% would leave u with better abs
