Anyone seen the 2k6 remake of RS?

saw this posted on bb.com's Misc section, i don't really get involved with anything RS anymore, but apparently they have around 78k ppl pre-registered in this 2006 remake of RS (glory days!). thoughts? has this been circulating around already and i'm so far out of the loop that i didn't know?

edit: fucking nostalgia, just clicked the 18-24 age selection.. when i first played RS i was barely old enough and felt awesome for being able to click "13-17"

yeh but it wont be the same as old runescape because of ppl arent fully aware of this, noobs were what made the old wilderness, not the graphics.. majority of the players will still be above nooblevel

I personally don't see the point in training at the same rate as Runescape's exp when you could be playing the orig instead of a fake.

The point is, this is the time of Runescape where you still were making bronze bars on your level 64 defence main. The time where PKing and clanning was great. Who knows when the game will die though, so fuck playing.
