I found that music usually puts me off during workouts, n earphones always get in way, unless im going heavy, then ill crack em in and stick some hard rock on.

As for supplementation, i take a homemade whey/glutamine/BCAA mix post workout, i'm looking into trying out every single supplement on the market, each month :D

A - 50/50 on the music because half the time im with my workout partner, we always do shoulders/chest together for spotting etc.when i'm alone i'll listen to rnb/pop kind of music, i like to keep things happy for my rest periods, pretty sure i block out all sounds during my sets.

B - standard whey for post workout, mass gainer when bulking, multi-vitamin, fish oil, creatine. also going on EC stack next week as i'm cutting for summer atm. have been taking jack3d for the past 2 weeks whilst cutting because i find it helps alot when carb depleted, wont need when i start EC.

i've tried jack3d but i found i got way too much of a come down so i'm on neurocore atm and i like it. similar sort of pump but way less of a come down feeling :p

how many scoops do you do? or is your body more tolerant to the high caffeine levels?

No music, either I go with flat mates now or I go alone and smash the workout.

Only using whey right now; once when I wake up and once post workout.

even when i go with mates i still take my music and listen to it while i lift, then take out while i rest. i dunno, it works for me ;p

I don't listen to music when I lift with friends which is most of the time, and music doesn't motivate me it's just sommit to 'entertain' me in breaks between lifts. Supplements aren't a big part of my diet as my gains are fine without them and I cba spending loads of money on supplements when weightlifting isn't a real big part of my life. I have been lifting for 3 years (part of my high school course - strength and conditioning) every day, every week, aside from little school breaks and not as often over summer. After this last year of High School, I may pursue weightlifting and overall working out with a greater interest, but my improvements have been great and since it's warm again I've been starting up cardio again, which consists of running - with music - after school around my old neighborhood which is something I enjoy; normally 1-2 miles at a time.

for me i use my earphones as more of a blockout technique. i go to a gym that is relatively small and i usually know a fair few people in there. i've found that with headphones in people don't approach you trying to talk. but either way i throw my phone on shuffle and go with it.

i'm currently takin whey (obv), jack3d, fish oil, and glucosamine chondroitin

i dont listen to music, just talk to people but there is music on the p/a system thing at gym.

supplements, whey protein, pal gave me these xedra cut lava stick things, dunno what the hell is in them but theres 250mg caffeine each so having one a day on a morning. bought and using taurine as well to prevent crampy time from using clen.

Yeah I've used a fair amount of ON products and I am scared to move away from them; sorta safe I guess. I'm quite keen to try out some Gaspari or Muscle Pharm protein/products but I'm not sure.

Imo Music is very important when working out alone. I need some music that really motivates me which then is party music or some hard rock, also depending on my mood
