Steroids Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 (edited) 20 4 years i don't test my 1 rep max's because it is pointless for building muscle and adds an even more pointless risk of injury. benched 2 reps of 145 like a year ago because my gym partner was doing his maxes and pressured me into it. diddn't do it properly with altered diet / rest build-up etc. all 4-6 reps 125/185/130 mirin squat ? ;p I prefer 45 degree leg press ! Mike (0BR) Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 20 4 years 225 lbs for reps / 405 / 235 for reps weak legs :(
Nick Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 18 years old 1 year (2months with a food schedule and a new trainings schedule been doing very good since then) 45x3 (no help), I don't do dead-lifts idk why but i've never seen someone doing it at my gym so i can't really ask for any help if I'm doing it wrong/right, I don't do squats anymore because of my bad knees it hurts when i go down and go up + my knees makes some weird noises when i do that :/
Adam|Spakka Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 Look into getting some knee wraps Nick! haha i prefer leg press too Steroids, 'specially since my gym don't have a squat rack :<

Kody Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 (edited) 22 years old hard to say how long i've been lifting.. self taught so i've wasted a lot of time learning. haven't 1 rep maxed in over a year and half as it's pointless in my eyes because i'm a bodybuilder not a powerlifter. but these were my 1rm at the time. I strongly suggest that nobody worry about doing these as you are mostly working your ligaments and not the muscle you are trying to target. but hey, like twm says.. do whatever the FUCK you want Bench 315x1 Dead 380x1 (shitty form) Squat 315x1 (knee wraps)( and PARALLEL none of this half squat i see kids doing these days) all of these exercises are really shit for me seeing as how i'm 6'3 and an ectomorph. Am focusing alot more on an aesthetic look rather than how much I can lift. my rep ranges hang around 6-8 when I'm lifting moderate weight but as of right now I am super/drop/tri setting a lot.
