Rihanna is truly showing no signs of slowing down any time fast.

An inside source told the Sun, 'Rihanna impressed with her acting debut in Battleship.'

'Writers think she’ll be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn’t take any prisoners — just like her in real life.'

The 24-year-old singer recently made her leap to the big screen playing a weapons officer named Raikes in the mega-movie Battleship.

The source continued, 'It’s a step up the ladder for her and could lead to bigger action roles.'

Last year, Vin Diesel revealed in an interview that the sixth part of the film would be split in two, meaning Rihanna could also star in the seventh film.

Diesel, 44, explained, 'With the success of this last one, and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn’t have enough space.'

He continued, 'We have to service all of these character relationships, and when we started mapping all that out it just went beyond 110 pages, the studio said, "You can’t fit all that story in one damn movie!"'
