Sefket Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 SOURCE In other news, the sky is still blue. In a move that could have been predicted weeks ago—and only reinforced by the outrageous box office numbers from the past week—Disney announced today that "Avengers 2" is indeed already in development. Shocking, we know. Deadline has the scant report, which includes a quote from Disney CEO Bob Iger, who explained that the film's success "is a great illustration of why we like Marvel so much." So, money? The announcement adds "Avengers 2" to the Marvel line-up that currently includes "Iron Man 3" and "Thor 2" in 2013 and "Captain America 2" coming in 2014. Best guess (and a lot of speculation) puts "Avengers 2" debuting roughly sometime in 2015. Now what it's confirmed, what do you want to see in "The Avengers 2"? Let us know what you think in the comments below and on Twitter!
Veta Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Still waiting to see the first 1 but pretty excited to see it
W3` Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) Now what it's confirmed, now that* and on another sidenote, saw the avengers two times already, its an amazing movie, im def. buying it when it comes out, my opinion its 5x better than the average superhero movie. and some more facts. V------ http://movies.yahoo....-224900761.html --------V "Marvel's The Avengers" shattered U.S. box office records with $207.1 million in its opening weekend. It has brought in more than $702 million globally to date. Some Disney theme parks are making room for "Avengers"-based attractions. V----- http://movies.yahoo....-224135677.html ------V Last chance: stop reading if you don't want to be spoiled. - - - - the scene shows The Other, the leader of the Chitauri -- the alien race recruited by Loki in his attempt to vanquish the Earth -- talking to the mysterious figure sitting on a throne he has been reporting to throughout the film. The Other says that they were mislead by Loki and that humans are stronger than they believed. He tells the figure, "To challenge them is to court death." The figure turns, revealing the purple face and glowing eyes of Thanos. "Who?" you might be asking. Thanos, the Mad Titan, is a villain who has been part of Marvel Comics since his first appearance in "Iron Man" #55 in 1973. He is an Eternal, a species originating on Saturn's moon, Titan. And he is bad news. In the comics, he obtained the Cosmic Cube (the blue box of energy that Loki stole in the movie), and it gave him godlike powers. The Avengers teamed up with Spider-Man and The Thing in order to stop him. ( on a side note, marvel gave all rights to making spiderman movies to Sony, so that is why he was not able to be shown in the first avengers, as well he probably will not be making a scene in the avengers 2 unless they get some legal rights to use spiderman. ) Edited May 9, 2012 by W3
Dylan Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Movies take so fucking long to get put out now. You'd think that since the more efficient we are with using better technology, the faster the movies would come out but nope - directors and editors are too fucking lazy and argue/disagree way too much when it comes to the "perfect shot" or what should be added in the movie.

It's a lot of work to do Post-Production work. But, yes, I agree there are arguments and many of the CEO's like to make everything perfect.
