Phil Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 the first one went in fine (right eye) i spent 20 minutes putting in the left one, my mom outside the door yelling "cmon' we gotta go!" she left me. im stuck at home with no ride to school, because of fucking contacts. it just wont fucking go in, i dont blink anymore when i put them in, i put it on my eye, roll it around and it comes out like what the fuck ./rant.
I C0NN0R I Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Don't u get that eye-dropper shit, which u like put on ur eye/contact or w/e, then use one hand to pull ur eyelid back and the tip of a finger on ur other hand to just kinda like place it on ur eye. Saw a m8 do it once, didnt seem very hard.
k1dstrenqth Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 O.o ouch, and ur mum is kinda harsh roflmfao
Eppl Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Ive got contact lenses that you wear at night and you can see for approx the next 24 hours aslong as u sleep for 6 hours a night; its called Orthokeratology you could look in to it, i like it a lot better than my old day lenses :nice: And if u had them you wouldnt miss a ride to school :wow: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthokeratology
d72 Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Are you new to lenses? If you are it takes a shitload of time to get used to them. Mine do that too, what I'm supposed to do is put the contact on the white of my eye and roll my iris onto it. But, that doesn't work out for me... So what I do is put the contact on the white of my eye and manually move it and stick it to my iris. Also, check if maybe they're inside-out? :P
Phil Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 im not exactly new to them, ive only worn them maybe.. 15 times. so i guess i am new, but the fucker just wouldnt stick to my eye. the right one went in perfectly fine, no problems what so ever. and the reason my moms so harsh is because the morning schedule we have is kinda tight. this is basically what happens. i wake up every morning about 7, take a shower eat etc. at about 7:20 i was putting my contacts in, and we needed to leave at 7:40 so i can get to school plus my mom can get to work. at about 7:45 i was still trying to put the left one in, and my mom cannot be late for work... so she was basically raging at this point. about 5 mins later she bailed, and i was stuck with a ride to school from my brother. 8:15, i still couldnt get it in, and im even worse at taking them out, so i went to school with one contact in, one out. fuck my life. 8:45 i get to school 15 mins late, cant see shit. fun day. the fact that im sick doesnt help muvch either.
`Stef Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 rofl dude, my nephew has that shit all the time, his eyes turn red everytime it happends lol
Smush Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Lol I had trouble putting in my contacts when I first got them Now it takes me like ... 6 seconds flat from opening the case to shoving the contact in my eye.
Uly|BlitzStr Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 hmm dont get that mad i'd love to have contacts glasses are too annoying tbh i cany lay on my side because the thing is digging on my side and i feel like im bending the glasses. i cant see like everywhere perfect just through the lenses and my glasses look retarded on me tbh there kinda crooked from like a year of wearing them so... yea thats my mini rant lol
Diving Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 well keep practicing, ull get better and wont miss ur ride to school. anways contacts better than glasses Imo.
TheRealPure Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I started wearing contacts at the age of 7 ( i'm 15 now nearly), i'm guessing if you live in the U.K, you could be able to buy an eye solution called 'Optrex' which when you put like two drops into your eye, it re-moisturizes it, and allows the contact lense to be put in or taken out with ease. Trust me, i went into the sauna with my lenses on and after an hour i realized i had them in and I was fucking scared when i realized that i've damaged my eyes, but my lovely bro gave me optrex, and ta-da! out came the lense! :3. Sorry for such a long comment but to put in simply OPTREX OPTREX FTW!
Olbermannn Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 im not exactly new to them, ive only worn them maybe.. 15 times. so i guess i am new, but the fucker just wouldnt stick to my eye. the right one went in perfectly fine, no problems what so ever. and the reason my moms so harsh is because the morning schedule we have is kinda tight. this is basically what happens. i wake up every morning about 7, take a shower eat etc. at about 7:20 i was putting my contacts in, and we needed to leave at 7:40 so i can get to school plus my mom can get to work. at about 7:45 i was still trying to put the left one in, and my mom cannot be late for work... so she was basically raging at this point. about 5 mins later she bailed, and i was stuck with a ride to school from my brother. 8:15, i still couldnt get it in, and im even worse at taking them out, so i went to school with one contact in, one out. fuck my life. 8:45 i get to school 15 mins late, cant see shit. fun day. the fact that im sick doesnt help muvch either. You get up at 7 take a shower eat and get changed, holy shit your quick. I got used to mine after the first 2 days or so, i think there easy, mine are monthly disposable ones that im meant to have in for maximum of 6 hours per day, i usually have much long and sleep in them too.
Cal Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Feel pretty bad for people who need em, my best mate irl wears em and he cant stand em lol
d72 Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I can't feel mine after a while lol... But after my eyes are dry, and it's been more than 12 hours since I've put them in, I can start feeling them :P
