this game is Halo + minecraft + warcraft 3 in the same game!

seriously im not a big game fan, but ive seen this video and its mind blowing what this game is capable of

some notable features in the video-

-GIGANTIC map potential, you can free-fall from the middle of space to earth (takes like 2 minutes of falling)

-minecraft style building and mining of resources

-vehicle and guns similar style to halo

-able to FLY TO SPACE and free-roam the different meteors and planets

-Max Payne style slow-motion fighting

i make this topic because my computer is not good enough to handle this game, but seriously thinking about investing in a better one just to be able to play this with RL mates

CURRENTLY FREE in Alpha stages. If you have a decent computer download this game and post here what you think please!!

I downloaded and gave it a try. Maxed out at 5-10 fps with 640x480 resolution and the lowest possible graphical settings.

exactly same as me!! i got 10fpsish at lowest settings

i think this game requires a top-notch pc- would still love some feedback from players who can play in good quality!!

The controls also felt weird. It's not instant motion like in minecraft. Instead there is quite a bit of acceleration when trying to walk, and to jump in a certain direction, you have to be moving before jumping.

The character also looks silly.

I've been following this for about a week now, and it amazes me how many retards bitch about the controls, physics, lack of gameplay etc.

It clearly says pre-alpha in basically every video, people have even taken to calling it star forge alpha.

Still waiting to see someone bridge to an asteroid or something.
