Combat Training

Hey guys,

Ive now gotten to the point where I have only a little skilling left before I intended to train combat. BUT with the new combat rework coming and all the proposed changes im beginning to think it may be a better option to wait till after the update and building a pure around this new style of combat. What are your thoughts guys? Wait till after the update then decide on prayer/att/def level etc or just start training now and hope for the best?

Now would make more sense.

get 99 def. Then you'll be ready for the new update.

well your guna need str/magic so work on that also im guessing prayer is still guna be a huge part of it so just make a basic acc and if u want when the beta comes out work your account to what you want it 2 be like after you see the rework

I'd wait. If my input is worth anything.

Just wait man, you don't know what's gonna happen. Pures might be extinct. Honestly, it wouldn't hurt to start training because no matter how you train you can just get defense later. Unless you're only option is a pure I suggest just starting training.

I'd say make a start on stuff like ranged/magic.

combat rework is like half a year away still, don't think you could wait that lol

Im thinking at this stage, lock down overloads, quest pure stuff, leave prayer and attack and train range/mage for now, build a bank and do my skills for now, then im going to wait for combat rework, feed back over next few months from beta, and decide from there. Thoughts? Recommendations?
