New to this lifting thing

Most of you already know that I don't lift

and i've been meaning to take advantage of this time I have now; being youthful and such. Not to mention out of school since i've graduated

Which leaves me more than enough time to get fit

I run regularly, go for walks, bike to campus etc

but I feel as if I'm missing something, I'm not exactly big so I thought. Hey why not bulk up?

Did a little research and apparently a daily multi vitamin is essential if I'm gonna be lifting

http://www.bodybuild.../multi-pro.html

So I got dat

I've used creatine before when I played football a lot and I know that shit works well

so i'll probably get some of that as well.

And i'll need whey protein since I don't have access to a lot of meat since most of my family is vegetarian... *facepalm*

I plan on making a workout log in the future just to keep track of it, mostly just to say that I have been doing it and to see progress

Posted here so you guys could give me a little feedback of what I should do since I'm a "lifting newbie"

Your basic lifts and routine.

Chose from a few of these for each body part.

Diet is key, make sure you sort it out asap.

Lift 3/4 days a week.

go to a propper gym

dont expect supplements to impact that much, 95% of it is food, only supplements that will really impact anything is steroids, safe if u use it r8

recommend u take fish oils, multivit, creatine, essential amino acids, glutamine.

also recommend u try out different exercises over the first few weeks of training to see what works well for u and what doesnt, dont just do an exercise because some website says u should, if u dont enjoy doing any exercise for whatever reason, switch it up and try something new, there r 100s of workouts/exercises out there.

also do not forget ur basic compound lifts, as a minimum you should be squatting/deadlifting/benching/military pressing atleast once a week. dont leave any muscle groups out.

Sorry but i thort creatine was banned in football since 2004 because of ronny jones and vinny coleman dieing to liver failure?

Creatine is a steroid and is not to be messed with under any circumstances. Whether it be ethyl ester or monohydrate.

Anyways good luck on your goals, remember what i said though, be careful before you start taking drugs

Instead of buying multi vits from bb .com or anywhere just go to asda can get like 150 tabs for 2 quid or something, I just use cod liver oil tablets which are cheap and not from a supplement shop.
