Macbook..

So I am buying the 13inch small macbook for 1170€ (1500$) and have a guarantee for 1 year. I can buy a guarantee for another two years for 170€ (220$).

Pro: If something happens after that one year I am glad I bought it and saved a lot of money.

Con: It is not cheap and when I bought it in the past I did not need it. Karma might strike back at me for not getting it this time lol. Also I think if something happens, it is most likely to happen during the first year.

I am careful with my things and never managed to destroy my iPhone, iMac, iPod touch (it broke but not my fault).

Discuss whether it is worth it to buy that guarantee

and dont go on me telling about the amazing OS it has when you dont need it unless you are professional movie-editor/photographer, you have professional studio for audio recording or you are hipster

No, I know that you are right with your point that you get better quality for less money when buying microsoft but I am used to using Macs since I am 9 so I do not really see the point in changing that. Besides that money is not the problem. Now you might say, why not buy Retina display, etc? Because the small one does more than enough.

well im a student so i dont have money flying in of the window so i wouldnt buy the guarantee since its just overpriced

if that money isnt anything for you then go buy it but if you even for a second think that it is expensive then dont, they rarely do break, after all they are quality computers yes and you still have dat 1 yr already

I would have guessed that people with little money (I am a student as well) would buy the guarentee because they can hardly afford to buy a new one.

Yes that is my concern too, its a lot of money for not very much and you are right that they rarely break and if so, they break in the first year... Later on it would most likely be my fault.

Also I am not trying to be or pretend to be the rich guy.
