li oo0oo il Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 (edited) Nope, you can't make a living by doing 50/50 odds your whole life obv. Thats why every1 have a job, surely incoming profit. All though its different in rs, it's luck based. If you stake, people try drag advantages by x'ing a bit for pid (player id, aka first hit) ect. (still close to 50/50) Mostly would go their bank in by just having free pid, which is understandable as it gives u a better chance winning than ur opponent. Now i ask myself why wouldn't i do it on an obs stake, when i clearly got advantage. So thats what i did and thats what made my bank, overall. But as mentioned before rs is a lucked based game, which i realised quickly and you'll see in the video, even though getting free 3 hits i could still lose. In the end i was tired of focusing even; if it was an extra obby ring, it would give me advantage, but ye i did a stupid move and began splitting some vls stakes with a friend. I started winning a lot, but then it hit back. (since it's pretty much 50/50's.) After losing 70% of my bank i boxed rest of my bank, which obv was another stupid move. so ye in the end, vls'ing and boxing was dumb and could have saved me 500m atleast, if i didn't do it. Point is that i should've kept doing obs stakes, even though it may sucked at times and u felt it was unfair as fk. It would still give me the best advantage, but imo it is not worth it, to keep going. All though i learned that practicing and get good at something actually can get u far, which ill definintly use irl. Tl;dr: Got good at something->found out the generally thing still was a lot luck based-> bad luck hit me> Got tired of it> staked rest of my bank on 50/50's > lost > learnt that getting good at something will hold you in the lenght.
