My High Ping

As some may kno my Ping Gets passed 5k at sometimes. Honestly idk what to do? My laptop is Great no problem with it and stuff. I got a new router and it still goes passed 5k at times. Usually its under 1k. But i cant pk or attend trips cuz i Dc. So i increased my net speed from 15/5 to 50/25 should help. Any Advice??
