Adam|Spakka Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 calves are in absolute agony, not like the typical post workout soreness, feels like iv proper damaged something. anyone have any advice? did a crazy calf workout other day involving hundreds of reps and lots of sets so dunno whether its just an extreme muscle soreness or whether iv damaged something bad, having to hold onto railings and things just to walk to college and back
BatManSpec Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Possible you could have pulled. Just stretch them, do ice bath, and don't over do it next time :)

k or as i Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 (edited) first of all if you are going to work your legs out, don't focus all your time on just the calves, work out your entire leg upper and lower also don't forget a good 15 minuets stretch before hand, it prevents stiffness and you will gradually get more flexible. 45 min - 1 hour is enough time to spend on legs do not overdue it or you will have trouble walking and sitting the next day Edited September 28, 2012 by k or as i

ph0ne Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 if it's compartment syndrome, it happens if you're over doing the range of motion "This leads to tissue death from lack of oxygenation due to the blood vessels being compressed by the raised pressure within the compartment. Compartment syndrome most often involves the forearm and lower leg" "Another possible cause can be the use of creatine monohydrate; a history of creatine use has been linked to this condition."

Hotkeying Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Heres what I do when I have pain in the calves Step 1: Ice bath for 30 mins Step 2: Take a dump Step 3: Apply feces to the sore area, rub in proportionally to create a thin brown layer on the skin Step 4: Masturbate Step 5: Apply the semen to the sore area, rub in proportionally to create a thin transparent/white/red/yellow layer on the skin Bandage that shit up real tight and in 1-2 days you'll be fine.
