then he comes back and this happens....... He's able to pick it back up.

That shit happens all the time. They get hit by others, who do more damage than you but after that, they log out. You make damage, he dies but he's still able to pick because the person who did more damage logged out.

You probably didn't even get kill messege.

I've been getting this alot too... i 2 hit my targ the other day, and not my drop and he wouldnt fight me again, he wouldnt even just die to me, logged, its so annoying

Never downed someone for 23m and had that happen to me... but that stuff happens at least  twice a day  mate. and knowing rs... you may have gotten d boots.... an absolutly amazing loot would of been his fury. but hey. better luck nxt time eh?

Also I think this occurs in BH +1 worlds

Because I died, and had no ags on me, so I ran back to where I died and everything was on the floor, including my ags.
