Do people really consider 94 prayer pure? or even 30 defence pure? Personaly i think 20 def + and 52 prayer+ shouldnt be considered as pures considering being pure was based on being low prayer and 1 defence, not flaming anyone but thats funny considering i see pures lvl 109+ and arent even the strongest type of account for their cmb level, i know youll say their pures using the updates to their advantage but still you can be low level and be a beast at 75-80 combat , when pures are lvl 109+ its hard to me to consider their any good cause 45 def pker smash people around that combat level.

nobody considers it pure, its just how the game has worked out.

109cb pures are nowhere near the strongest build at that level, any med lvl would wreck it.

personally i dont even think 1 defence pkers should even get over 70 atk, you will eventaully max out and be high level level 95+ yea youll still be pure but a weak one at the combat level , i remember pure was a defination that was set in stone years ago and many people are streching it , maybe im just nerdy af or weird lol

I remember when 20 def was not ''pure'', even clans like FOE frowned made fun of the ''mains'' from other ''addy daddy'' clans, and allowed their own clan members to get turmoil afterwards.

It's just the way this game works. People realised that turmoil was good, and even the 95 prayer helped in f2p wars, so why not get 30 defence when you can get away with it?

When i got 95 prayer it made the game a lot easier for me, and actually made it more enjoyable. I don't see why people limit themselves by deciding what's ''pure'', if you don't want to be in a clan with 30 def pures, just don't join FOE - no one will force you to do that.

Pures have just become more than something you only use to pk with, pking has been dying for a while, and stuff like turmoil makes other things in rs easier (slayer/frosts, bossing in general), and - from what i know - people treat their pures like they treat their old mains, by actually putting effort into them besides pking stats.

Go ahead and tell about how much you dislike 30 defence and how it's not ''pure'', but a pure was once a niche account that was made to dominate the 70-70-70 mains back then, but they have gotten outclassed by other builds. All these niche accounts get outclassed in some way (like rune pures get dominated by 80-99-70-like accounts and tanks), but IMO adding 95 prayer and still being a part of the clan just makes the account more fun to play. In the end, i don't think anything should be called pure it's just clan rules and how you want to build your own account.

I see why people consider turmoil itself as being pure as it's offensive rather than defence but I don't see the 35 def etc as pure do it to not helping offensively, pure being the best you can be offensively with the least defence, in that regards we are pure I guess?

Disagreeing cause Rs has changed and new updates are coming out all the time when rune gloves came out 20 defence was the "Turm pure" back in the day now its all about turmoil and 30+ Def.
