Ever wondered why we beat your clan in every fight? Even when we had less people, lower levels and no addy? Well I'm going to share some of our innovative ideas with you all so maybe you can understand a little better.

Note, when this topic refers to 'all' it just means every clan we had a rivalry with. Doesn't include the very high level or low level clans.

1. Your callers were terrible (especially Zenith)

I used to chuckle really hard when clans blamed their audio going offline for losing fights, most of the time it was why you lost in the first place. We paid our leaks to record your teamspeak during preps and we found that clans like CP and Z had very static calling. Infact, Zenith callers would make the exact same calls at the exact same intervals during preps. It would go like this:

1. Start with range

2. At 30 seconds rush in with melee

3. 1 minute later move back out with range

We didn't even need a live audio feed to counter your calls, you basically did it for us.

And then you had CP, who were scared to war without Drunk instructing them every step of the way. We used to have a level 3 with private chat on and then got a little squad with 99 range to add it. Then when we fought CP, I would follow drunk on the level 3 and our range squad would look for the green dot and one hit him by the call. Later he caught on and started coming to your trips on his brothers account which had defence.

2. We Had Eyes Everywhere

This was my personal favourite and I've been dying to let you all know what we did. When Control first opened back when there were just three pking worlds (BH Worlds) instead of paying our leaks I had a new idea. I put level 3's across every popular hopping/warring spot on the map. Then, I set them all up on virtual machines, downloaded manycam and connected them to a private tinychat session. Then when we wanted to scout a world, for example world 57, they would just all log in world 57 and we'd have security cameras all over the world.

Also it was really easy to get spies into your clans, Zenith especially. I joined on three different spy accounts in a few months because they kept getting recovered by the owner, and then eventually just started paying leaks instead because it was easier. We would just make a PW clan searching topic asking for a "both F2P and P2P based med clan", then one of the CT staff would reply saying CT is the place to go, then a Zenith rank, usually Co0kiesz, would pm the account with some lies about how Zenith were the #1 med clan and I'd play hard to get and then apply.

3. Information Systems

The reason you never got spies into my clan wasn't a coincidence. We took extra measures to ensure we had every bit of information we could available to all staff and performed background checks on all apps. The first thing I did was collected a database of usernames from every pure clans official RuneScape clan page. I noticed that each account was given a unique ID and it allowed me to track username changes. So I have a massive DB of accounts with every username used.

I also had (and still have in some cases) root access to all of your servers, and I had every username, email and IP feeding back into the Control server. Including when IPs changed. I also fed the contents of the staff board table back into my server and into the Control IP.Board db. Allowed my staff to view all of your staff posts and keep an eye out for spy/leak talk.

And something that everybody uses now, I've been keeping logs of IRC Hostnames since 2008. I have a bot running on my server that idles in every pure clan channel and logs every hostname and associated nickname. Was the most effective method of catching out spies.

4. Warring Tactics

I never really understood why clans like FI, CP, Z, IR would stick to the same boring old warring style and never ventured outside of it. Was why we beat you every time we fought you (although you will protest that you beat us, but that doesn't bother me). The most effective thing I did was bring along 5-10 level 3 accounts with CT team-capes to fights, and each account had a full inventory of food. When clans were still using team capes and would call their retarded "push", we'd get all of the level 3s on top of our clump and they'd be taking all of the clicks. I had also planned to use the accounts as like a F2P BoB but it never really worked out.

Your addy also made you weak. This is how we beat FI many times because their callers would always go for it and waste all of their members energy with their calls. We'd fight somewhere like the gap and then we'd just keep quickly running to each side of the gap until I had around 10% energy left. At that point, we'd turn around and smash all of the fat addy cunts with no energy left. They were ripe for the picking.

There's so many other reasons we beat your clan, but it would be cringe-worthy listing them like they were actually innovative or intelligent. The only other clan that dared to venture outside of the conventional management of every other clan was NME, which is why I thought I'd put them here. Control closed and I quit before they started their ascension so I couldn't really tell you what they did, but I've seen enough of them.

The main reason you lost was because my members were more intelligent, more prepared and far less reliant on what you call "calling". Shout out to the Control boys unbeaten in something like 13 preps and being out-levelled in every single one. I think the worst was by 12 combat levels against Fatality. Also shout out to the lads who joined us on our journey through the year 2011.

Oh, and I'd also like to let you all in on a little secret. IR, CP and to some extent Z brought a group of mains to every weekend trip. Then when you started losing, your leaders would blame them even though they were hitting us. I still have all of the staff board posts on this server so maybe I'll make it all public when I can be bothered. Cheerio.

Funny part is that the bit about level 3's in BH worlds is a lie, I know this because he was telling me about it after the return of the wilderness update. He was telling me that he had it planned but never actually implemented it in time before the wilderness update. Do you really think that he wouldn't have taken screenshots of the virtual machine? Plus the part about planting spies via clan searching, IR had been doing that way before CT opened, and I'm pretty sure other clans knew about it as well because you can only plant so many spies that way without people catching on.

The only good part was the bit about getting other clans staff boards, he had us baffled for months on that one.

All in all, I just remember CT as one of those clans with low level retard members, all about numbers, that never competed matched opts. I mean, they were that clan that simply refused to prep us (IR) for most of the duration because we smacked them 2 preps in a row with ease. At least clans like Z, CP, Fi competed matched. Sure they got a couple lucky wins over CP and FI (who back then weren't even that good)

And like most clans, CT didn't close, they died. Not on their own terms, but on the terms of the clans around them who showed no mercy towards them when they were pulling 20s and quickly ended it before they were pulling 10s

Oh btw our spy in IR was Touqir and you promoted him to leader, rip.

Duval, Sean and myself planted Touqir in your clan around January and he leaked for 3m/trip for the rest of the year. Even leaked to me when I joined EOP too. How does it feel to have lived a lie, been in the dark when you thought you were awake.

And to say we never competed matched our record was 13 unbeaten in the summer beating Fi, CP and 5-0 vs Zenith.

We prepped Foe lost 2-1, due to P0ke, and in our prime fought Mm at the end of trips as they'd be pulling out there asses.
