firstly, anyone planning on going on away this winter skiing?

and secondly, anyone recommend me a place to go..

Been Canada, been France, so looking towards Austria, and i prefer recommendations & word of mouth.

Needs:

-good nightlife cos goin with my mate

-not overly expensive, but reliable for mid January

-plenty of fuckin snow lad.

Meh Austra is gayer than a pride parade rioting in a confetti factory. Go to Vancouver of Swiss Alps or something cool like that. Actually, should get out to Colorado. Go to vale, it's not overly expensive, the skiing is epic, you'll have plenty of snow then, and pot's legal, plus social scene around there is unbeatable. You might even be able to find a girl, for some reason, American girls usually are quite fond of 4ners. Something about pseudoculturation.

I go skiing close to the german boarder three weeks a year cause my dad owns a house there, you will not find much variety there but since I go there since 10 years I know sick off slope runs.

If you go to popular places with big night life and variety you will find yourself spending loads of money.

Try Kitzbühel or search for am Arlberg, thats a mountain with lots of variety.

What kind of skiing do you prefer :)?

EDIT: When in Canada did you go?

I loved Whistler, just nice there but also went to many places in bannf and Fernie :-)

Everyone telling me to go over to USA, it's a short week away so not going over to America + as i already said, not looking to spend a massive amount and flights over there will cost a fair bit.

Thanks Jonny i'll have a look at that mate, i'm into freestyle, got some twin tips, but don't mind a bit of off piste, done alot of that with my cousins over in Canada, when we went to Whistler & Cyprus mountain.

i went to Blue mountain in Ontario, Canada, with my classmates, it was pretty epic, i love it and i plan on going there again during Christmas break.
