Aeons Decay Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I was browsing rsc and found this: Does anyone know if it's true? If it is then more pures should definitely get summoning to at least 68..
ViBeZz Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I'm pretty sure it's combat related not summoning but could be wrong I know loot is combat related.
Its zeh noob Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Nah, not true. Ive got 73 sum and when I kill a target with 100% ep it still goes down to 25 or around it.
ViBeZz Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Actually he kinda isn't... Summoning = Combat levels. Higher combat = Less ep loss.
Olbermannn Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Overall combat level effects your drop/ep loss. Not just summoning lol. Also the ep loss is always different.
Steroids Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Dont think this is true.. However it would explain ALOT.
HADUKEN Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Maybe he means if you use it while pking? like having 68 summoning with a familiar out?
I Pown3r I Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Makes sense on one behalf, because I always, no matter what, loose 75 ep if it's above 80%. And I'm 26 summon. Then again...I think I'll stick to the combat theory. I also heard quite an interesting thing, that QP can play a little roll in the whole scene. Connor mentioned it a few days ago.
Henry Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Im 61 summoning, on 100 ep i get shit loot to 20 ep then get stats :D
Brutal Deth Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 To be honest ever since i hit high summoning on average i lose 10-25 ep per target/pk. I cannot recall if i have ever lost more then that in a kill.
Its zeh noob Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Notice I got my bunyip (-> 68 sum) out and ive got 100 ep + its a target kill. Junk loot + 71 ep lost. ;)
ViBeZz Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 hmm yeah it's just pretty random to be fair.No it isn't it's combat based.
Brutal Deth Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 I've been thinking why you guys always lose around 75 ep, and i think i know why. The higher ep you have the higher chance you will get good loot, but also the higher your ep the higher chance youll have of losing a lot more ep. Personally i don't EP because i see it as a waste of time, i always stay 50 or 60 at the highest so that's why i rarely lose much EP when i kill someone. Combat just has to do with the kind of loot you'll get i think, maybe not with the EP.
ViBeZz Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 No ep is effected on combat level.. Why can't people read page 1 before posting?
x itsonme x Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 quest points and total lvl have an impact and maybe even total play hours and stuff like that because i play on a lvl 78 pure with high skill total and tons of quest points it doesnt need and i get good loot + lose pretty low ep on kills and its not combat based 100% because i know 2 ppl higher lvl then my main who lose 75% ep from 100 every kill and get crap loot where i lose 23 ep from 100 on a lvl 78 and get 3 ancients in 1 week

I pk around 100-50 ep (mainly target kills) and ive never had an ancient stat in 200 kills (got all of them on clips)... I think its all about luck :(
