starting to bulk now, lifting heavy , been reading up on creatine, quite confused weather to take after or before, I've been watching a lot of hodgetwins and they say to take it after. but then I've seen some people say to take 30 mins pre workout and post workout.

well i'm going to be taking jack3d for pre workout, should i take creatine before? or after? or pre and post. would it matter if i took both jack3d and creatine for pre workout?

what do you guys do? do you drink creatine post or pre?

Before, Gives you a bigger pump and you'll notice a difference in lifting. I added it to my prework out about 2-3x the recommended amount. Also added about a scoop and a half to my shake after. Try muscle pharm creatine. Its the best I've ever tried.

Not saying this is the best way to do it, but this is what I do (Started my creatine cycle 1 1/2 months ago and seeing massive gains)

First week of cycle I took 4 servings a day (loading phase, 20g creatine a day)

Once in the morning

30mins pre-workout (with my pre-workout, animal rage)

immediately post-workout in a mass-gainer shake

before bedtime with a casein protein shake

on rest days i took 4 servings throughout the day

Then, for the next 2 months I took/will continue to take 2 servings a day (10g creatine a day)

One pre-workout

one post-workout

on rest i took 2 servings a day (morning and at night)

+1 to Hotkeying.

Dumb maori, "don't want to take that much." Most creatine monohydrate's recommend a loading phase followed by constant use like Hotkeying pointed out.

I normaly have two scoups of Hard gainer creatine in the morning, 2 scoups before a work out which is normaly about 11-12 after preps/pk trips then i'll take one straight away depending on how i feel i'll have one later that night.

Never did a loading phase, Never believed in them either, Not a big difference in not doing one. Take it pre and post for a month and see if you notice anything. All this stuff is very simple people just throw in a bunch of bull shit to make it complicated, *studying sports nutrition*

No

The amount of creatine that one takes varies between people, some people may need more then others but this isn't determined by one's weight, it's done through numerous medical tests I believe or some shit I forget what my lecturers said about it. The important thing is really: The amount stated on most creatine products is the recommended intake for an average person and most people see improvements in strength via this intake.

You don't have to do a loading phase but most people find it beneficial.
