Starting my cut

~2200 cal makes me hungry just looking at it

VOLUME of food is everything.

my staple meal of choice is

400g white potato, i just bake em then mash em up with a fork and mix in hotsauce, franks baffalo or chalula is the GOAT for taste:macros

then however much chicken/broccoli you want and mix it all together, such a good meal i actually have it 2-3 times a day when cutting.

white potato is the greatest carb source. the overall volume of food you get along with its superior satiation effects and nutrients. nothing comes close, not even sweet-potato lol.

if you find you're still hungry on 2k calories even after incorporating 2 of these meals into your diet. then just keep adding even more broccili/other veg into the mix.

just having two big meals a day seemed fine today, shake in the morning then had a jacket potato with some chilli thing i made (lean beef mince, peppers, carrots and mushrooms) picked the wrong beef at the shop tho got the one with more fat than the other which is annoying but owell

yh ive cut in the past pretty well got a few decent recipes shouldnt be bad

think i just started cuz i was bored at college inbetween lessons. and prob for girls too.

now i'm so addicted that i legit get withdrawal symptoms and mild depression if i don't go for a few days. not even sure why i'm still so bothered.... i couldn't care less about my strength progression and i'm happy with my current physique. maybe its the irrational fear of losing muscle or i'm just addicted to the actual activity of lifting weights and the dopamine sensation that follows.

M8 it's not an irrational fear at all, the loss of gains is real

Saw my kidney specialist today, he said creatine is fine for me to take but that I should stop taking protein shakes and have a low protein diet

Dunno what I am going to do in terms of keep taking shakes or not

He also chucked in the fact that anabolic steroids are out of question for me unless I want kidney failure

I remember someone at my school had a kidney problem and he was told to leave protein alone, but he said he just drank fuck loads of water every day and now he's competing in national weightlifting competitions and that

dont know the ins and outs of what was wrong with his kidney but did you ask if there's anything that can decrease risk of damage

i'm getting back into the gym since i'm going to to play football next year(going out for kicker). i wanted to know what are some good excercises at the gym for stronger legs and a tighter core. Having a strong core is essential when kicking a football since i get power from there too other than my legs. any help is grateful, thanks!

honestly the best way to go about it is to have a browse on google and watch youtube videos on technique and correct form and hit the gym and see if there is anything you prefer

also if you google exercises for stronger legs and core I'm sure you will find hundreds of threads of people in a similar situation or similar goals to you, just don't be lazy.. nobody here will give you a full workout plan

can you post a few other very easily made meals for bulking rather than cutting

that mash potato with sauce idea seemed so easy but i'd need more calories in my meals

eh i'm actually not the best person to ask for that, i would love to eat 10k calories worth of that meal i posted most days LOL

altho the obvious answer would just be to poor olive oil on everything

or for a low-fat option, the easiest way to get in great macros imo = cereal with skimmed milk. i can personally eat a whole box in 1 of things like shreddies, miniweetabix etc.

Feel a awkward pain below my left shoulder blade when I squat, not sure why

Also why is there a big dispute over keepin toes straight when squatting vs pointing them slighty outwards, personally I feel a lot more comfortable pointing them out

Link to comment

The way you point your toes when squatting will train different quad locations, I do 2 different type of squads, first I do the normal one with straight toes*and then I do the squat where my legs are slighty a bit more open and my toes are pointing outwards, u shud try that out

Not really, when I started I just got told to do whats natural feet position to me and that was straight ahead.

So_easy is some what right, but squats are so compound its hardly noticable

Im sure Dog or Steroids will know the science behind it
