Steroids Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Starting my cut ~2200 cal makes me hungry just looking at it VOLUME of food is everything. my staple meal of choice is 400g white potato, i just bake em then mash em up with a fork and mix in hotsauce, franks baffalo or chalula is the GOAT for taste:macros then however much chicken/broccoli you want and mix it all together, such a good meal i actually have it 2-3 times a day when cutting. white potato is the greatest carb source. the overall volume of food you get along with its superior satiation effects and nutrients. nothing comes close, not even sweet-potato lol. if you find you're still hungry on 2k calories even after incorporating 2 of these meals into your diet. then just keep adding even more broccili/other veg into the mix.
Skidddz Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 just having two big meals a day seemed fine today, shake in the morning then had a jacket potato with some chilli thing i made (lean beef mince, peppers, carrots and mushrooms) picked the wrong beef at the shop tho got the one with more fat than the other which is annoying but owell yh ive cut in the past pretty well got a few decent recipes shouldnt be bad
Dog Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 think i just started cuz i was bored at college inbetween lessons. and prob for girls too. now i'm so addicted that i legit get withdrawal symptoms and mild depression if i don't go for a few days. not even sure why i'm still so bothered.... i couldn't care less about my strength progression and i'm happy with my current physique. maybe its the irrational fear of losing muscle or i'm just addicted to the actual activity of lifting weights and the dopamine sensation that follows. M8 it's not an irrational fear at all, the loss of gains is real 1
Farmoil Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Saw my kidney specialist today, he said creatine is fine for me to take but that I should stop taking protein shakes and have a low protein diet Dunno what I am going to do in terms of keep taking shakes or not He also chucked in the fact that anabolic steroids are out of question for me unless I want kidney failure
k or as i Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 (edited) lol he's telling you lifting is out of the question Edited September 18, 2014 by k or as i
Farmoil Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 @@Dog his advice isn't wrong it is the truth, when someone has polcystic kidneys high amounts of protein is bad for them Will probably keep taking it tho cus fkityolo
Dog Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 (edited) Oh didnt know you had an existing kidney condition just thought he was being the typical over exagerrating doctor Edited September 18, 2014 by Dog
Skidddz Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I remember someone at my school had a kidney problem and he was told to leave protein alone, but he said he just drank fuck loads of water every day and now he's competing in national weightlifting competitions and that dont know the ins and outs of what was wrong with his kidney but did you ask if there's anything that can decrease risk of damage
k or as i Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 (edited) Feelin so shit dont let it get to you brother. keep doing what your doing, with hard work you will see results. Edited September 18, 2014 by k or as i
Kevyn Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 i'm getting back into the gym since i'm going to to play football next year(going out for kicker). i wanted to know what are some good excercises at the gym for stronger legs and a tighter core. Having a strong core is essential when kicking a football since i get power from there too other than my legs. any help is grateful, thanks!
Farmoil Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) honestly the best way to go about it is to have a browse on google and watch youtube videos on technique and correct form and hit the gym and see if there is anything you prefer also if you google exercises for stronger legs and core I'm sure you will find hundreds of threads of people in a similar situation or similar goals to you, just don't be lazy.. nobody here will give you a full workout plan Edited September 19, 2014 by Farmoil

So_easy99 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 lol yesterday Kai slapped Phil with his hair on stage, epic

Farmoil Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Feel a awkward pain below my left shoulder blade when I squat, not sure why Also why is there a big dispute over keepin toes straight when squatting vs pointing them slighty outwards, personally I feel a lot more comfortable pointing them out
So_easy99 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 (edited) The way you point your toes when squatting will train different quad locations, I do 2 different type of squads, first I do the normal one with straight toes*and then I do the squat where my legs are slighty a bit more open and my toes are pointing outwards, u shud try that out Edited September 22, 2014 by So_easy99
Kevyn Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 so i was readin online about protein and all that and i was curious. do i have to drink two protein shakes a day or just one after i workout? i wanna get cut here btw :3
DeltaPapa Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Not really, when I started I just got told to do whats natural feet position to me and that was straight ahead. So_easy is some what right, but squats are so compound its hardly noticable Im sure Dog or Steroids will know the science behind it
