ignite seems a bit stronger in lane, but exh is usually much more helpful throughout the game because of its ability to shut down a carry for a few seconds

 

i take ignite only when i feel i need the boost during laning or if they have massive heals like nid/raka/hec etc

This plus blitz needs exghaust incase he pulls the wrong person into the team like a lisandra if shes good she will ulti before knock up it works trust me

It helps if support takes ignite and adc takes exh imo as the adc is more likely to get into a 1v1 situation.

I take ignite on lanes with high kill potential, but if they have a zed/kha/rengo for example i'll take exhaust to save the adcs ass.

exh actually reduces overall damage by 30% and attack speed by 50% i think

this exhaust he a hard couinter to zed for instance and also gragas if you can anticipate hes ulti combo very lisandra cant do shit since her damage is delayed so you have time to exhaust her blocks alot of damage

I always run ignite on my support if I'm duoing with my adc. Just the way we prefer it plus gives us higher kill potential. 

Exhaust if I'm soloqing because I don't want my fellow bronze warriors raging at me for "kill stealing"

hardest part about syndra is landing her stun. just bought her. fun as fuck but that stun can be tricky to hit. she needs some more skins though lol.
