XP rates on Old School servers

Hi everyone - we wanted to get your thoughts on something...

We've noticed that some players love the idea of starting fresh character in Old School RuneScape, but some others have said they don't like the idea of having to spend time re-levelling to where they are in the main game.

Importing your current avatar won't be possible, but what do you think about accelerated XP gain? Theoretically this could provide a fresh start but hasten the progress to higher levels. Is this a great solution or is it blasphemy to the authenticity of Old School servers?

wouldnt be so bad if it was like 2x xp for first week or so so people can get some half deent lvls to start getting things like armours/weps/pots into the game faster

Yes, private servers for anyone who doesn't want as authentic an 2007 RS experience as possible. Pretty counterintuitive to want bonus exp rates. If they can't salvage the accounts from back then, they owe it to those who played in 2007 to start fresh and make things as close to what they were.
