How do i start playing old school? and reqs?

I see that i need to be a current member and have voted yes on the poll in order to plat old school. with that being said, how is it that i make an account on old school rs? does it go through my current rs account that i need to get members on? I'm a bit confused, try and help me out, i'm pretty frickin excited for this.

what are the requirements gonna be for skills? especially def? i heard big talk about only allowing 1-10 def. i never really played seriously in 07 so i i have no idea what pures/clanning was like back then.
