Evan Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 yo boys. i wanted to know your thoughs on doing two workouts in a day? keep in mind theyd be 8 hours apart and max once a week. only doing this cause of time contraints and i cant go one weekday. should i do it or to much? if so is there two workouts that i should do in that day, like back and biceps in the morning and then chest and triceps at night?

Tris Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 If you want to try something like a double split I'd have a look at PHAT by Layne Norton. Involves power training 2 days a week and hypertrophy 3 days a week.
ORP Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 If you can do it, why not. Altho you could easily hit all muscle groups twice a week using a 3split schedule twice a week so not sure why u would.

You might not have muscle fatigue as such, but you would certainly have CNS fatigue. If i was you i would work out on a wednesday too if poss. If you cant, perhaps a push/pull routine would be good
