Simple effects but your brush's/ c4d's are low quality

Even tho the effects are simple, sometimes simplicity is the key, although using a stock/render and doing some effect + colour doesn't make a sig. I would work on creating a better background to give it some atmosphere and not just colour and smudges.

Also overlaying white or same render to give it a bright look (the Barnie sig) can give it a nice effect but is a rookie effect that discredits your abilities to others.
