He really isn't wrong? Look at your signature is there a focal point? It isn't easy on the eyes, what did you really do? Extrude text add maybe a C4D render/lighting affect that you didn't create?

It's called constructive criticism. If you love all the ass lick people give to feed your ego go for it. If you want to improve and get better then take the criticism and stop being a pussy. 

If you do good work I'll tell you, if you do bad work, I'll tell you. Don't like the honesty then post in big bold letters saying "only kiss my ass and don't comment if you think its bad in any way, it hurts my feeling being told the truth".
