PS probelms?

Alright, this has seriously been happening a lot recently, just about 70% of the time I open Photoshop to make a tag. It'll randomly throw this error at me out of nowhere, and it won't let me do anything towards making a new tag or finishing the one, however it still lets me use brushes on the canvas.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? If you have, do you know how to fix it?

Yeah, my PS is old, but it's because I prefer to use CS1 over anything above it. Also, it's not pirated; It's an actual copy of it that my computer techie gave to me for my birthday last year.

It's seriously becoming a major burden, and it's really making me reluctant to make tags now. And unfortunately, I start to make tags in photoshop and don't save them until they're done for some weird reason (It's a habit), so this one of my favorite drummer Neil Peart that took me an excessively long time for only 12 layers is gone. :S

best solution if found when my PS decides to crash is ctrl+alt+del > proccesses > photoshop.exe, right click > set priority to low, let it chillax for a while and see if it un-fucks up. Also right click > set affinity and make sure all ur CPU's are checked.

I dunno if thatd work for the error you got, but when my PS changes to "not responding" it sometimes does.

soz mate can't help you.. i suck at PS :( i want to learn it but i don't want to watch like 9THOUSAND tuts :o
