Canadian Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 March 31st, 2013 - Happy Easter everyone, hope it's a good one! I had a great night last night and am still recovering and what better way by playing a little scape. Anyways, as usual, I've been up to quite a bit, been making some solid progress. First thing that I want to mention is that I had some bad luck and disconnected during a Slayer task and lost my bear helm. I talk about this in my "Underrated Pyrefiends - Clues" video on my youtube channel which is "Elliott X". Check this out to see my latest luck with clue scrolls that I got from Pyrefiends. I also talk about a little bit of a Prayer dilemma in the video. Sorry about the confusion, I've been trying to figure things out and make a solid name for my youtube because google sent me an email saying I had to change somethings and what not. For those of you who are wondering, I changed my rsn from: xxElliott to: xElliott. Basically just took out one x, it definitely looks better, not a huge deal, just thought I'd let everyone know before thinking I was banned or something. My artwork on my channel is lacking, so if anyone wants to give me pointers or help me out, it'd be much appreciated, just send me a message. As of late, I've been Slaying as much as possible along with Farming on the side and other little activities. Slaying is pretty frustrating with Vannaka giving me ridiculous tasks that I pretty much have to Burthrope 7/10 times. Nothing that I'm not used to so I can handle it. I managed to get 60 Slayer which is a great start. I always felt as though 60 way a big break through level. After 60, you begin to unlock important things in all kinds of skills which is very useful. Also got 60 Strength which is a break through as well. As for Farming, a good guy "Road Turtles" gave me some free seeds and what not, which was very nice of him. I don't seek donations or anything but it's hard to say no to free Farming xp. I decided that I am going to keep my Farming/Woodcutting/Firemaking all the same level at all times. This is partly because I planted a maple tree and went to cut it down and realized I wasn't even 45 Woodcutting at the time. Such a dumb mistake, but hardly detrimental. Just nice to keep some things balanced out. I've been ranarr farming and making prayer potions for profit for those who are wondering how I've made any money and such. This has gotten me 60 Herblore as well, which I think is top 1k? Herblore has always been a little ridiculous like that. Farming and Herblore go hand and hand and I don't ever plan on stopping Farming even once I hit 99 somewhere down the line. It's too easy and profitable. Also, it is a major asset in being self-sustainable. I'm still chasing 70 Ranged, as I am currently 66. So tired of this red dragonhide but soon I will never have to wear it again. I need to make some more iron knives which means off to the mines...I'll be mining in Al-Kharid and using duel ring for banking/mine access. Iron knives are pretty sweet for doing tasks quickly. Something that I accomplished with the help of Berttt on forums, was obtaining a fury. I made a video showing and explaining how to get one for cheaper and it feels nice having one as having the best item in the game for a certain equipment slot is a final step in many cases. That's what I've been up to guys, make sure you check out my videos and subscribe!
