Mahfia Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 This bot thing is annoying now players when you simply dont respond to them for any number of reasons they assume you are botting when simply i just think they are not worth my time
Sletox Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Have nothing to worry about, picking flax is slave work.
Offhost Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 You're all sitting here acting as if technology didn't have flaws, and people don't make mistakes. Believe it or not, some people as myself, were banned wrongly. I quit for two weeks, and just came back the past week and started making my own maple longbows to alch them, because I don't really have much cash, and I wanted to get a few skills up at the same time, so why not? Call it "slave work" or whatever, I don't really care. Last night after I had finished fletching the logs into longbows, I went to the flax field to pick flax to spin into bowstring, obviously. Around 70 or so in, I got DC'd, and tried to log back in. My account had been suspended, for two counts of "Macroing Goldfarmer". I have never used a bot. Since day one, everything on my account was legitimate, done by hand and took time. It sucks that I have to wait to play again, or that I might not be able to get my account back at all, when I had been playing legitimately since the servers came out early. If you're going to sit here and call me a liar, or that I'm stupid, or someone else on my IP is botting, etc. Save it. As stated before, bans aren't IP wide, and even if they were, the only person who plays RuneScape in my house is me. It just seems like you've forgotten the world is imperfect, and shit does happen. There was a statistic somebody randomly threw out that 98% of people are lying, well the other 2% and I have a reason to be upset or bummed out. Hopefully all the people that were accidentally banned will get their accounts back in due time.
