Read title, i'm just wondering why so many pures want the old wildy. Sure you didn't have to gain ep or wait for a target, but honestly anyone that's pked on a pure back then knows that the best loot you're going to get is a dragon dagger, strength ammy, and a couple sharks. If you don't like gaining EP, you would probably still make more money now just killing people with no EP.  :unsure2:

besides the loot point, basically what you want is for people to return to old pking methods, changing the wildy back wont change people from complaining 'bout veng or smite.

since you're higher combat you might have been able to get a whip or something, but for the majority of the ppl on these forums (pures) there really isn't much loot you could have gotten, to me it was frustrating pking, then spending my time off doing something else so i could make money for the supplies i spent so i could go back to pking; the new wildy allows you to stay pking all you want.

IMO if they need to bring anything back it's staking  ;o but there's no way that will happen (n)

well like i said above, that has nothing to do with the current wildy, that is just the degrading quality in runescape players. honestly it wasnt so great back then though, everytime you got a pile you were immediately dds'd by someone else, even more then now since back then the pj'ers were hoping for a double loot

i do have to admit i dislike the phoenix necklaces now though, nothing more frustrating then pulling out your dds and hitting 30+ then nothing, then seeing your opponent have full hp; the kicker is it doesnt end there, even when you're out of specs they usually just slap another phoenix on, so in the rare occasion that your d scim actually hits and you could KO w/o your special, it won't happen.

Well with the old wild came benefits, you get what you deserve from a kill, and you dont have to waste time just sitting there waiting for ep.  I was an intiate then proselyte pure on my old pure, where i pked whips alot, owning rune pures because most wouldnt be able to keep there pray up with the low pray bonuses.  Also in old wild we could risk fire capes etc and come back to pick them up

I also would like wildy back because then it'd erase some of the faggot wannabe pkers who only raise their ranged level because they know in a "fair" fight, range will dominate because it's way too overpowered with Dbow, Dragon bolts, and shit like that...I hate lazy pures. Pures are meant to get every level up, even side stats...

The whole point of old wild was getting there items, in bh its shit, getting 100ep so you can get 2m+ sure its nice, but its pointless and a waste of your life. And saying in old wild all pures got was daggers? Pures used to pk whips daily.
