weither you're grinding a skill, or training with friends, try to get in the habit of idling on teamspeak aswell as Irc

you'll usually hear events that will happen first on teamspeak

 

 

i understand if you watch movies or do something else in the background, its all good

 

 

 

for the app process its not simply just about getting referrals, its getting to know your future clan mates

so make the effort to get to know everyone

There's a host of different channels, and alot of the time you can get yourself in a locked channel with a couple of mates and be undisturbed.
