The days of awe in runescape. Okay now back to topic. When will this game be dead? When will Jagex stop members/non members and combine due to lack of players? I believe in 2 years. Discuss

It's a waste of time and completely to train good stats because the effect is minimal in this shit PvP and this new display name change update proves how desperate Jagex are to keep it going for a while longer. Believe me, they're obviously trying to squeeze out whats left of the game in desperation before they close it for good.

They earn to much on Runescape to close it so yeh, not 2 years.

Have you ever looked at how many players are online at the time? When I started playing RuneScape it was surprised to see 20,000.. Now it's like an average of 110k? That's ridiculous. Jagex is making way too much money to shut it down, and even with their shit updates people are still going to play. Wilderness or not Runescape will still thrive; this is a PvP based community.. we're nothing compared to the people who play the game just for the sole reason of playing.

Runescape will last until something better replaces it, which would have to be something pretty fucking awesome to end a game with this many players. If you don't know what I'm talking about think of this ; When VHS tapes were the shit people couldn't see past them, then DvD comes out and people are like 'Fuck that VHS shit, I'ma get me some DvDs', etc.
