RS07 vs Pre-EOC

Pre- Eoc of course, just so many things that were easier to do, more entertaining.

 

Although 07 scape works for me since I decided to sub back in the first place.

I never thought i would be back to this game because i quit for a few years.. but the nostalgia of 07 scape has got me hooked..i honestly thought i was finished with this game but they ressurected it and im having a blast

Agree with this so much. EOC was getting ridiculous, too many OP weapons which made pking require so little skill that it wasn't fun anymore.

runescape back in 07 was at its most fun stage, pre-eoc simply became a "it'll do" as far as im concerned, never quite living up to the good old days. Having 07 now allows players who maybe were maybe just starting out in 07, to enjoy pking like it was meant to be.

Pre-Eoc because I had bills and could pk as much as I wanted, lvl new accounts with turm on a whim and pay someone to quest it all for me, but mainly because I love clan wars. Minis and preps were the shit.

 

 

07 is a lot of fun though and I think I would like it a lot more than pre-eoc if they add clan wars.

In my opinion, the Evolution of Combat was one of the worst updates the game has ever had. Back in 2007 and even before 2007 the game was so much better purely because the mechanics were original and the content was not overly complex. It is great that they brought this version of the game back, hopefully polling doesn't ruin it again.
