These kids have no clue what there talking about.. Attack is a lot more balanced in 07 servers so it actually does help if you wanna max your attack out go for it! Shred some staking

in staking you are fighting w/o gear , therefore seems a lot more balanced

 

if ur 1 def high atk, ur high combat and fighting people with venge, rune defenders, piety, torso/armour

I kno what you guys are saying :), but there not much i can do as a low level pure, its purely not fun for me. i enjoy the challenge i just went into the wild as  lvl 59 and dropped a guy my level with my slayer gear. :/

jokes aside, here are my thoughts: This is just me, but I prefer deeper wildy pking to edge pking. It is much harder for people to run and if you bring a tb'er(not always needed) you can get some really nice kills. Edge bores me, its the same thing every time. You look around, ask people to fight, they say yes/no, you eventually fight and it is two people smacking each other looking for a combo until it actually kills someone or they run away. Or like 75% of the time you get pj'd. That being said, I think 99 attack is a great idea, a whip does a lot of damage and if you mix that in with barrage, it wont matter if you're fighting a zerk(im speaking as though you will be deep wildy.) As far as whether you should train it to 99 or just pk from 70, that is your call. Personally, I would just train it to 90 and then pk from there. Basically you'll be using a whip all the time, meaning you have to use the 'attack' option. Honestly it is up to you but those are my thoughts.
