Ddosed/keylogged???

Okay so Anxiety was being gay to my Friend so i went into their Channel and started talking shit... THey kept threatening to Hack me and stuff so i left... I was later Pmed by someone named [AX]P_R_iDe or something like that and he said hes going to like hack or ddos me. All the sudden a bunch of Keylogger shit comes up in the chat box in red font and it looked real.

I got freaked out and closed out Swiftkit... I came back and he said he was playing a joke and it wasnt real. So stupid me i talked more shit and he said he'll actually do it. And he got his "friend" who had [Foe] in his name and he told me he was going to hack me... I dont know the command for checking his ip to see if that was the same AX member. so here are my questions

1. Is it possible for them to find my IP adress and if so how do i keep it hidden

2. What can it do to my computer.

3. what actions should i do now and in the future to avoid this problem?

You can only get keylogged if you download something, you can only get ddossed when they have your ip, only way to get it on irc is if you do /mode -x.

To check someone's IP in SwiftKit in the future, say the person's nick you want to check is [Foe]imsocool or some shit... You'd go /Whois [Foe]imsocool, which will give you their information, including what nick they've changed from, what their original nick is, and their server.

DDoSing isn't really a threat to your computer as much as keylogging is. DDoSing is when someone sends you multiple packets over the internet causing your service to become unavailable temporarily. Annoying, yes. Threatening to your system? Not entirely.

DDoSing will do nothing but make you lag and disconnect, to change your IP turn your modem or router off for 5 minuts. Don't click any random or suspicous links and don't register on random fourms/game sites.

well its impossible, as far im aware, for u to b keylogged unless uv downloaded sumthing. if u havnt then its pretty safe to say ur not keylogged

as for getting ddosed, they need ur ip to do it. so if they have gotten ur ip address from vent/ts servers uve been on, forums u use or links uve clicked then its possible for them to ddos u rly

but if ur worried about getting ddosed, go change ur ip and boom they cant do it till unless they find ur new ip address
