TJ Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Who would you chose? If you could see either one in concert. Personally Skrillex. Simply because I find daft punk's music to be too slow. I need something I can fucking jam too.
TJ Posted May 6, 2013 Author Posted May 6, 2013 daft punk skrillex is too many stream and daft punk isnt? lol
Luke Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) Daft Punk.. Alive 2007, enough said. They way they work their own material to create something new and unique for their live performances is standalone. Don't get me wrong, Skrillex would be fun, but only in the way going to any dubstep show would be fun for me. Daft Punk is special live performance, I find their music is far more memorable in the bigger picture, and I would take more enjoyment out of their show. Still won't forget a couple summers ago when my work schedule kept me from seeing Ratatat, Daft Punk, & Buckethead at different points in Central Park. Regrets man Edited May 6, 2013 by Luke
i tauntz i Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 a mix with both would be great imo but daft punk is kinda slow yet i can't listen to dubstep for more than 30 mins without getting bored so daft punk

They are insane, skrillex is a sellout Yea I know, I've seen what their performances look like. TRUST. it was a close call. But I'd love to see skrillex live. As far as skrillex being a sell out, daft punk has done and is continuing to do work with kanye, and other artist. As well as Skrillex. Skrillex pull most of his radio casted songs btw. When you have an incredible talent. Why not make a little money off of it. As long as you love what you do, fuck the world.
Chris Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Netsky pls, neither of the artists you listed are good enough to listen to for over 30 minutes. they have select songs which are good but overall aren't up to the same standard as other artists

Dominatus Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Daft punk by far LOOOOOOOOOOOL. Skrillex is just some wannabe dubstep, he isn't even dubstep. I don't have any fucking clue why people call skrillex dubstep, the guy even says he isn't dubstep. I know he isn't because there is a difference between dubstep and his music, and also he likes to use the same shit over and over. If you look at most of his songs you will see the same vocal sounds in like every single one of them. The only songs that got him famous were his originals, but that goes for almost every artist. It seems like everyone does the best on the first one, so they can actually get fame and fortune, then they start to lose more and more interest and end up producing 2nd quality music. Take eminem for example, he had really good original songs now his new songs are just about the illuminati and some are just garbage in general.

I like tomorrows another day though, that's one of my hybriding songs (yes I have hybriding songs).
