The exact cause of an eyelid twitch is unknown. A twitch sometimes develops during times of increased stress. Twitching has also been associated with high caffeine intake, fatigue or excessive squinting. It can also occur after reading or working on a computer for prolonged periods of time. fuck u google
Fateq Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Damn Rs I get these in my eye. Floaters are deposits of various size, shape, consistency, refractive index, and motility within the eye's vitreous humour, which is normally transparent. They may be of embryonic origin or acquired due to degenerative changes of the vitreous humour or retina. The perception of floaters is known as myodesopsia, or less commonly as myiodeopsia, myiodesopsia, or myodeopsia.Floaters are visible because of the shadows they cast on the retina[3] or their refraction of the light that passes through them, and can appear alone or together with several others in one's field of vision. They may appear as spots, threads, or fragments of cobwebs, which float slowly before the sufferer's eyesSince these objects exist within the eye itself, they are not optical illusions but are entoptic phenomena.
Jim Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I get those twitches every few weeks from stress build-up, even if I'm not really stressed at the time. I usually put half a cup of water into the freezer for a few minutes, then rest the bottom of the cup of my eye.
