Dane Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 (edited) Brilliant to watch something like this tbh. Firstly because some guy that my brother went to school with has the same disability, maybe not as advanced as this guy but still, has the disability and last year he competed for Team GB in the Paralympics which tbh when you're told you're going to struggle to walk etc and then you throw it in the doctors face and work and work at it and you're representing your country in the Paralympics, now that would be one hell of a feeling. Secondly, my brother and mam both work with people with mental health problems, disabilities and tbh I wouldn't be able to do it, I don't have a clue about anything like that - some of them don't even speak and they can make out perfectly everything they mean. They're told theyve never got a chance of doing anything and are put into care but my mum helps them do things they dream of or achieve things that you would never expect, like taking them to old trafford to watch their football club and doing things only they can dream about. It's really great to see people achieve things like this when they're born less fortunate than most others. Edited May 29, 2013 by Dane

I tried to get into it in the past but have been rejected due to certain hic ups but still, has and will always be something I'd like to do one day.
