Well i just got adobe photoshop, I know this looks like shit to a lot of people, but it is my first image.

Like it at all? What should I change, effects, color, tutorials recommended?

Register at GameRenders and look through their tutorials; a lot of them are really good. Use DeviantArt to find your resurces that you'll need ^_^

As for the img you posted, the stock's too blurry, and the beveled txt is tacky... Also it's incredibly simple, but it's great seeing you experimenting and using the tools rather than just applying text to an image :p

once i get my new comp i'd like to ask you bout some gfx stuff, seems like your pro :D

and about the image, kinda blurry, to simplistic, but you're trying, if you keep at it, ionly time will tell you if you are good.

im new to this kinda thing too, saw u posted on my thread so decided to check out yours  ^_^. second one is a big improvement, but the character you used is a bit blurry, did you take the screenie in high detail? also, i think it would look better with your character in motion, either doing an emote, or maybe a d claw spec. i like to take attacking screenshots in edge wildy, you can attack the skeletons from a distance with spec and get a good pic. the background there looks pretty good if you want to use that, and you can also find spots where you can cut out your character pretty well.

i would take daniel's advise

second one looks pretty decent but you still need alot of practice :) also what omg|ethan said; try making pictures in HD ;)
