Gabe | U V Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Well i just got adobe photoshop, I know this looks like shit to a lot of people, but it is my first image. and Like it at all? What should I change, effects, color, tutorials recommended?
d72 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 www.gamerenders.com www.deviantart.com Register at GameRenders and look through their tutorials; a lot of them are really good. Use DeviantArt to find your resurces that you'll need ^_^ As for the img you posted, the stock's too blurry, and the beveled txt is tacky... Also it's incredibly simple, but it's great seeing you experimenting and using the tools rather than just applying text to an image :p Keep practicing! :D

Gabe | U V Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 I just added a new one, tell me what you think.
Going Pking3 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 2nd one should be "Failed Twice" Naaa, but I don't think I could do better-.- Idk, take's practice, you might get better.
I C0NN0R I Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 second ones ok for a first, or second. take daniels advice
Zany Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 ugly rs character, the 2nd one looks pretty gud though
Skyler Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 listen to the master dan, hes very helpful. keep practicing and never get discouraged
Devlz Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 You truly live to your rsn. The second one is better. and yes, like said above me, listen do dan.
Ethan|Unicornz Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 im new to this kinda thing too, saw u posted on my thread so decided to check out yours ^_^. second one is a big improvement, but the character you used is a bit blurry, did you take the screenie in high detail? also, i think it would look better with your character in motion, either doing an emote, or maybe a d claw spec. i like to take attacking screenshots in edge wildy, you can attack the skeletons from a distance with spec and get a good pic. the background there looks pretty good if you want to use that, and you can also find spots where you can cut out your character pretty well.
`Stef Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 i would take daniel's advise second one looks pretty decent but you still need alot of practice :) also what omg|ethan said; try making pictures in HD ;) Peace
