I think i read somewhere they want somewhere around £35. Doubt this will go through seeing as how there is little motive for him to come to untied. Thiago just left so thats a greater chance he will play more when age hits xavi. Also he took wage cuts to go to barcelona so i don't think would be a possibility either. Although, if Moyes submitted an official bid then he might be disgruntled for some reason we're unaware of. What do you guys think of fellaini coming to united? Personally his physicalness would be great in a cdm position but Manchester united would still need to sign a new midfielder seeing as carrick is aging and cleverly is unreliable.
Tris Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1705360-manchester-uniteds-bright-future-zaha-stars-and-adnan-can Zahaaaaaa
Sean`` Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Personally wouldn't want Fellaini if I were a MU fan. Carricks a better all round player and they play a similar position, or Fellaini's best position is where Carrick plays. Although it could change depending on what formations moyes wants to use he preferred 4-5-1 at Everton.
Callum Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Fellaini would be a good addition to Man U, gives the team more depth and more competition for spots. I also seen that Chelsea put a bid in for Rooney today, doubt he would join Chelsea but I can see him leaving OT this season, thoughts? Fabergas will not join Man U, hopefully he goes back to Arsenal What is everyones thoughts on Lukaku, as a player I think he has a great future ahead of him. New drogba maybe?
sacred v2 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 if the rumours are true united are stupid for not accepting 10m and mata or david luiz for rooney

Callum Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 if the rumours are true united are stupid for not accepting 10m and mata or david luiz for rooney Mourinho denied it earlier today in press conference. ^This, no players were offered in trade. If that was true though I would have to agree haha
Veta Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 United can't sell rooney to chelski. Putting one of the best strikers on the same team as one of your rivals; who happens to have the best midfield in the premier league. I could see him leaving but not to a pl team. Also i believe luiz gustavo has been transfer listed by bayern and a few pl teams are interested in him.
Insecurities Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 tbh if Rooney were to leave it'd be to a smaller club. He's past his prime now, but still good enough to deserve a lot of play time on the pitch. If he moved to a club like Chelsea he'd be spending more time on the bench than on the pitch imo which sucks.
Sean`` Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) Only bigger team that United is RM. Barca won't want him as they've just bought Neymar. Heard Chelsea want Gustavo for £16m and then they're going to sell Jon Obi- Mikel Manchester City have signed Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo subject to a medical, according to the Spanish club. Maicon has left Manchester City and signed for Roma. Former Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda has joined Turkish side Trabzonspor. Edited July 18, 2013 by Sean``

If he moved to a club like Chelsea he'd be spending more time on the bench than on the pitch imo which sucks. past his prime? He played out of position all year and was injured frequently. Even with his injuries he was one of united's top in goals and assists. Rooney still has the potential for even greater things. Rooney didn't have a fair chance to compete with rvp's goals last year because he simply was injured and wasn't given the chance. Van Persie went on a 600 minute goal drought and rooney didn't get a chance to prove himself up top. Rooney also has a tremendous work rate. He's one of the few strikers that can get back on defense. RVP is a 30 year old who is injury prone. Rooney can start on any team in the world besides a unique few and he is the only one that can keep up United's standards if RVP is injured. Welbeck is inexperienced and likes to kick balls straight into keepers and Chicharito doesn't have the same presence as rooney. When was the last time you say chica score from outside the box? And to your last comment his competition is Torres, Ba, Lukaku, and Schurrle (who might be put on the wing). Rooney is simply better. Look at this career. Rooney is in his prime and he can't be replaced.

Sean`` Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) Rooney is in his prime and he can't be replaced. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2354497/Wayne-Rooney-hated-gym-Ronaldo-says-ex-Manchester-United-fitness-coach-Mick-Clegg.html Pretty much sums my opinion up on Rooney, he is a fantastic footballer but he's let himself down and the club. Smoking and not fit at all. SAF said Rooney had to play every game just to keep match fit and he also said Rooney wouldn't be on the bench if he was in top form, which is another reason why he wasn't being picked because he was becoming lazy, stopped chasing the balls the were 5 feet infront of him. Eg. Vs Swansea ball in the corner, he was chasing, he stopped it went out for a goal kick. He could of got it. Edited July 18, 2013 by Sean``
Callum Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Spurs are building a good team to, just saying. If they keep Bale and make some good signings I reckon they can compete with top 3, deffo top 4 I think if arsenal sign some more strikers and maybe a defender/keeper I reckon they can compete against united for the title. Chelsea wont do anything this season, Liverpool are shite now.
Callum Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Newcastle signed Darren bent, what's everyone's thoughts?I personally think its good to see we have an experienced striker, but I think he is past his prime as Villa left him out the loop for way too long
DeltaPapa Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Only team intrested in Beteke was Tottenham. So he decided to stay on at Villa....... ....... Because he is an Arsenal fan and "would never come to the rivals" ffs. We never gonna sign anyone
