I have a fairly large sum saved up to make a computer specifically for gaming. I would like the computer to have basic parts and everything but I'd like to upgrade everything spec wise. What are the sites/good starting items that I should buy.

Gonna have some of the desktop support people I work with help me build a desktop later this summer so I could pass on some of that knowledge. I'm gonna enhance my old desktop into a server as well.
