Do you think he deserves this?

 

Personally I liked how he brought all these issues to light, but at the same time I think its very dangerous. It could of sparked civil unrest, acts of violence and un-needed tensions between countries. However to be nominated for one of the most prestigious awards in the world? I think that's a bit too far, especially since he is getting hunted down by the FBI. I still say fair play to him and they scholar is 100% right, we need more people to take a stand.

 

 

I'm undecided whether he deserves this or not, perhaps. Depends who the other candidates are.

 

For all of you who live under a rock, Snowdon released a lot of America's confidential information regarding spying and so on.

this is like a month old but yea i think he should get it tbh 

 

i don't really understand how people think what he done was bad i mean people hate being watched by things like normal people with cameras or people looking through their phones/laptops yet if a government do it without telling you its 100% fine? also what you said about tensions with other counties i disagree i mean bugs have been found in embassies all over the world since this came to light honestly all i really think will come out of this is either more secrets/lies/spying or clearer governments being honest with their people 

 

think about what would have happened if this was a 3rd world country or somewhere no one really gives a shit about shit would hit the fan but because its the us its fine and should be allowed

Yeah I agree completely, he had some big balls to stand up like that and its about time someone does stand up to it. If it was a 3rd world country nobody would care, people don't care. However its America and everyone is making a big fuss over it, its not right for America to be spying on its own people. In a way I can see why they are, after 9/11 they are probably hoping to get the one up on people, but that obviously isn't working.

 

Im glad its been brought to light, far too much lies and deceit going on nowadays.

 

 

I guess your right about the tension between countries, there has been tension between many for years, always will be I guess.
