Reaper709 Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Hello, I am looking to level some farming. Does anyone have some good things to say on how to do it fast because i never trained farming. I am 9 farming now. thx
Brenden Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 plant herbs, fruit trees and normal trees, wait until the trees grow, check health, chop down, dig up roots, repeat
Hilarious Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Basically that. If you get really lazy like me, just do herb runs with a tree or 2 isntead of every single tree. I did herb runs on my pre-eoc account like 50-70 over a few months.
Reaper709 Posted August 10, 2013 Author Posted August 10, 2013 Ok, thanks. And do i just use the best things to plant or what?

Dizzy Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Just look up some good guides on YouTube. Should find your answers there if not found on this thread.
Storms Arrow Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 NOT MY WORK: kay. for starters, you will need a decent bank to start farming. 500k is the minimum. Farming only becomes profitable once you reach level 32. If you complete fairy tail part I, you will recieve 3500 farming exp (level 1 - 18 instantly). This is very helpful. I will now tell you the best method to get to level 32 (it will only take a single day), as well as what to do AFTER you reach level 32. For starters, I will tell you what to wear. Farming involves a lot of running... the less weight you wear and the better prayer bonus you have, the faster it will all be. When doing farm runs, turn on "2x stat restore." Wear monk robes, a holy symbol, and any god book that you have. If you have a holy sickle, this will be good as well. Wear a ring of dueling. Your prayer will last nearly a half hour now (asssuming level 43). Now that we have your outfit covered, what should we have in our inventory? 20k, 100 air runes, 20 law runes, 20 water runes, 20 fire runes, a shovel, a rake, a seed dipper, a watering can, and your seeds. If you do not have high enough magic for varrock teleport, falador teleport, and camelot teleport, then use the teletablets instead (note: this will significantly reduce your profit over time... just curse to level 39 magic, and then use crumble undead to level 45. It costs 210k and takes three hours). Also, make sure you have four bronze spears in your bank. They take three minutes to get against minotaurs. Now, from level 18 to level 32 takes a LOT of running around. For starters, here is the location of EVERY patch in farming (some do not exist because it's 2007scape) is a list of all the farming patches. Ignore the bushes (until level 22) and the hops (at all times). Ignore the fruit trees. To get to level 32, all you need to worry about is the allotments (which contain a herb and flower patch as well) and tree patches. You will want to plant oak trees as much as possible until level 32. Acorns go for 10k each on zybez. You can grow an oak tree in three hours. Five tree spots x 8 trees a day x 500 exp per tree = 20,000 experience. ALWAYS pay the nearby farmer to watch your oak trees. It costs a basket of tomatoes. Very cheap. When you go to allotments, grow tomatoes until level 23 farming. Grow marigolds until level 23 farming. Grow the best herb you possibly can until level 32 farming. ALWAYS use compost on ANYTHING (you can buy compost at the many farming shops nearby and store it at the leprechaun nearby). It prevents disease and stimulates growth. Once you reahc level 23, you will grow sweetcorn (cost 1.3k per seed) until 32. These rarely die when compared to tomatoes, especially if you put a scarecrow up (this is where the bronze spears come into play). Doing the above will grant you level 32 in a matter of twelve hours. If you have a diseased plant, purchase "plant cure" from any farmer or plant store (if you're missing an item, farmers can sell them all if you talk to them). I will send you a PM about supercomposts and how to get it for super cheap. Once you reach level 32, always use supercomposts on your ranarrs and limpwurt roots (you do not need the scarecrow anymore). These will give you a large profit. The more seeds you have at one time, the better. This is why having a big bank is very helpful. I have 300 limpwurt seeds and 100 ranarr seeds at any given time. This costs naerly 3.5m. Once you reach level 32, you do not want to grow anything except for herbs and limpwurts until you are able to grow watermelons. The fastest way to herb run past level 32: Teleport to Camelot, go east until the patch. Farm your limpwurts and ranarrs. Swap your super compost for produce and close the lid. Go south until just above ardounge (Carry 15 pineapples). Drop all your pineapples, take 15 buckets from the leprachaun, and then fill your buckets with super compost. Give these back to the leprechaun and pick up all your pineapples. Put them in the bin and close it. Now farm your roots and herbs and teleport to falador. Go to the east falador bank, bank it all, take out 15 buckets. Use these on the leprechaun and then run back after farming your herbs and roots. (do NOT take your remaining 15 buckets from the lepreachaun) to falador bank and withdraw 15 pineapples. Put these in the bin and close it. Now re-bank at draynor village (open the gates at the cabbage field south of the allotment that is south of fallador). Deposit all herbs and roots, take out 15 pineapples. Go to port sarim, and travel to karajima (30 coins). Then go to the dock that is just north and travel to Port P for 1100 coins (this is the cheapest way possible if you have no ectophile). Head west, pass the energy barrier, and go to the allotment. Drop the pineapples, take your remaining 15 buckets from the leprachaun, and fill them up with super compost. Give them to him to hold and then pick up pineapples and put it in the bin. Close the lid. Now farm your stuff and teleport to camelot. Repeat in two hours (note: compost takes two hours of you ONLINE to be ready to withdraw.... while herbs take two hours of ANY time to grow). You can do a herb run + kill dragons or chaos druids for 400k profit every two hours.
1 Item Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 my solution is to just not farm because it sucks
