Your weight is very light for your height my man you must not have much muscle swimming is great but is not really going to help you with running stamina nothing beats high intensity sprinting 15-20 mins a day works miracles on your stamina and endurance if your going to swim its going to have to be on the fast lane with no breaks If I was you . Would build some muscle first makes everything so much easier

rowing is the best thing for your CV.

doing long distances and then doing 6 or 8 mins of 30 on 30 off

so much effort though

by getting in shape do you mean physically, getting in good shape (gaining muscles and lookin sxc) or that american term that means having good cardio? Because if its the latter, i wouldn't have a clue what to tell u cept keep swimmin'.

If its the former, you've got a long road ahead of you using pink dumbells in the gym, wearing xxl hoodies and multiple layers of sweatpants.

Honest advice: don't bother getting into lifting, because 2 can things happen:

1: you do it for a while, then get bored and quit, why waste ur time in the 1st place? (90% of people)

2: you take yourself on a semi-lifetime journey of obsession, insecurity and never being satisfied with your body that inevitably leads to

A: Steroid abuse, steroid dependence (now ur a drug addict, better post some progress pics on fb to make urself feel better)

B: Getting huge naturally, therefore getting accused of doing steroids (because ur huge) which ponders the question, why not just go for option A

Lifting sum'd up.

quitting and coming back (depending on the intervals) can be a part of the journey. If someone quits for 1 month but is then consistent for years then they fall into the second category, However i've got plenty of friends who work out for a month then quit for a year and achieve nothing, which really is what most people do (no, not just the fitness internet community, the members of the REAL world)

I guarantee you, 99% of guys have dipped their feet in the world of fitness/lifting at some point in their lifetime, only a select few end up dieting/training correctly and only a select few of those guys end up attaining really good physiques.
