E O H Shak Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 i want to get 99 ranged in a month i say a month because i only want to pay for rs membership for one month then go back to f2p i have a little under 20m to spend on 99 ranged where would be the best place to train? what is best to train with? arrows? throwing knifes? etc? currently 70 ranged thanks in advance for any help
Paxman Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 well i think arrows are the best to buy atm, cuz obv everyone is haveing a fucking crisis with not being able to buy a large amount of bronze knifes due to the jagex store update...(yh great one jagex...) 70-85 i recomend fire giants as it is moderately quick xp. then from 85-90 sw or more firegaints (up 2 u) Lastly just chin 90-99 at skeletons :) hope i helped and if this aint helpful, this is a guide to 99 range by Ow 3 Hit: http://www.foe-rs.com/forums/index.php?topic=1744.0
Torell Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 personally i think u should use knives for 80range then sw 80-99
Paxman Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Imo, i get bored of sw, so thats why i said chinning and f giants. but if u don't gt bored then fine go for it :D
E O H Shak Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 I'll probably do firegiants since they drop some decent items from time to time that i could sell and get money back
E O H Shak Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 Do you guys think i could use more hp or just get the range lvls and skip the hp xp? im 83hp atm with my combat lvl being 72
TM Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Use steel/black knifes to 85 or 90 range, then soul war the rest.
E O H Shak Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 Can someone explain to me how soul wars works? never played sw and when i quit it wasnt released yet and ive been f2p since i came back a couple months ago
Pk Unit Mog Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Soulwars seems the best option boring but very quick xp.
B00M3D Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Do soul wars but train in-game with knifes on the slayer monsters or other players if you don't have the slayer level.
Ethan|Unicornz Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Do soul wars but train in-game with knifes on the slayer monsters or other players if you don't have the slayer level. thread is from october

E O H Shak Posted January 22, 2010 Author Posted January 22, 2010 You can try knives but they are hard to get. im doing crossbow @ fire giants 86/99 range atm.ve got school and gym everyday so im aiming for 90 by easter does it matter what metal the knives are? bronze, iron, steel? and how many should i buy to go from 70 to 80 ranged at fire giants? after 80 i think will just sw depending on how fast the xp is
E O H Shak Posted January 22, 2010 Author Posted January 22, 2010 thread is from october i just got members a couple days ago and im 140 zeal away from 99 str and 99 ranged is next on my list so thats why im asking questions on this topic and not making another Chin at mummies in the chaos tunnels also i can't chin there im only 1 prayer
PoZ Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 IMO, you could do knifes till 80 which isn't that bad. Although knifes are hard to get, so you could try steel arrows till 80. 80 - 99 Soul Wars.
