Maybe £30k if i find a real nice one... The brands I like the most are : Jaeger-LeCoultre Vacheron Constantin Audemars Piguet also watches? in 2013 and nearly 2014? really? watch is more than just a way to tell the time...I thought the same way as you did until about a year ago. don't worry m8 one day you'll be as mature as me
Fred Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Watches for time? Dear me. Recently I was at a bar and a friend of mine had a £500~700 watch on he bought from his first pay check. big roller i kno, but it looked so good. It gives of the air of class and sophistication and looks attractive. It's more than a utility, it's a fashion statement!
Dave (Cha0s) Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Best to go to shop and see what it actually looks like on your wrist than get suggestions here...

Also why buy a watch for it's brand? I'd go for http://s7ondemand7.scene7.com/is/image/FossilPartners/LE1017_main yeah dave dw going tomorrow lol just wanted to see what the general opinion was on these watches and in general gauge what people's appreciation for quality is Most people picked the rolex or the hublot, both of which are my least likely choice haha. Too flashy for my taste and age I think. My favourite watch there is the AP, but I can't see myself wearing that everyday...again, far too expensive in my mind plus not really age appropriate! More than likely going to get an Omega. Quality brand with history, understated, age appropriate and doesn't cost too much. But yeah when i'm in the shop going to be hard to resist buying an AP xD Itz Zeh Noob, i'm buying based on looks and prestige, if I wanted a 'brand' watch i would just buy any rolex and be done with it. I personally think rolex's are a bit too common, like wearing jack wills/hollister...eww
Skidddz Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 The Hublot and Audemar are both beautiful, if ever get to the point where I can afford either i'll be sitting pretty, I'd say go in try all of them, you won't know til it's on your wrist
