Allan Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 ye merry Christmas boys...that is if you're religious and all
Piers Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 (edited) Christmas is never merry when you suffer from severe depression. Often the Christmas period exacerbates the condition and for the many that suffer from it the burden can become too great to bear. If you have a friend or loved one who doesn't seem themselves; perhaps they're unusually quiet? anxious? Or perhaps they seem lethargic. Take a moment out of your day to reach out to them. Converse with them, try your best to lighten their mood. Take it from somebody who is a long term depression sufferer; a simple conversation can dissipate that lingering black cloud.
